AOXm is the promoter of alcohol oxidase 1 gene in Pichia Pastoris, which is an inducable promoter induced by methanol and can efficiently express foreign proteins. α-signal peptide refers to the α-factor signal peptide from Saccharomyces cerevisiae. It is one of the most commonly used signaling peptides because it can effectively mediate the secretion and expression of a variety of heterologous proteins in Pichia Pastoris. We use a combination of the two and hope that in the subsequent process, we can directly get Pichia pastoris to express our protein in large quantities and secrete it out of the cell
