FPPS_Santalum album

FPPS(Farnesyl pyrophosphate synthase) is an enzyme from Santalum album that converts IPP/DMAP to farnesyl pyrophosphate(FPP), the precursor of santalene. The protein is soluble in the cytoplasm in its native. Our sequence has a 6X HIS tag in its C-terminal domain. The sequence was obtained from the genome of the Santalum album from NCBI(HQ343283.1). The predicted structure and interaction sites of substrate FPP are shown in the next section.
