pPtsG, lac operator, antiterminator

lac operon, PtsG promoter and terminator/anti-terminator sequence. This part suppresses transcription of downstream genes when lacI is expressed; this part also activates translation of downstream genes when intracellular GlcT is dephosphorylated and bound to the PtsG RAT (ribonucleic anti terminator) sequence. Intracellular GlcT is dephosphorylated in the prescence of extracellular glucose.
