Design Notes

  • The Biobrick Part was designed without a terminator element downstream the luxI coding sequence.
    Nevertheless, it is possible use this part into plasmid vectors (such as pSB4C5) containing a Terminator in their backbones.
  • luxI coding sequence is LVA tagged to decrease the protein half-life. (Andersen JB et al. 1998)
