hsa-mir-200c_Target

hsa-mir-200c_Target (BBa_K5086001) is a single-stranded RNA sequence with 22 nucleotides, which is derived from mature hsa-mir-200c and is complementarily paired with the 3' end of the hsa-mir-200c_S and hsa-mir-200c_S1 sequences. Calculations showed that the correlation coefficient between its expression and the prevalence of ovarian cancer amounted to 0.7715, which was the second highest among the correlates of ovarian cancer. Validated by machine learning and expression profiling, this sequence can be used as an effective target for ovarian cancer diagnosis in stem experiments. hsa-mir-200c is a major member of the mir-200 family. Decreased expression of mir-200c in ovarian cancer increases the expression of the E-cadherin transcriptional repressor ZEB1, leading to decreased expression of E-calmodulin and decreased intercellular adhesion. On the contrary, an increase in mir-200c can increase E-cadherin expression, enhance intercellular adhesion, reduce the movement of tumor cells, and be used to control the metastasis of tumor cells. So the expression of hsa-mir-200c has a role in determining whether ovarian cancer is present. The function of this element in the platform: ①Target: as a target to bind to the probe, and then the polymerase uses it as a primer to undergo a polymerase-mediated chain replacement reaction. The displaced H-chain then undergoes a subsequent chain displacement reaction to produce a fluorescent report. ②Self-enhancement: The H-strand will be replaced by the wt-strand under the polymerase-mediated replacement, and a DNA single strand with the same sequence (U to T) as hsa-mir-200c_Target (BBa_K5086001) will be replaced, and the first step of the polymerase-mediated strand displacement reaction will be repeated to realize self-enhancement of the signal.
