Linker protein sequence with starting codon
This is a linker sequence composed of Serine and Glycine amino acids we used to link our starting codon with a hexa-histidine tag. It is used both to separate the his-tag from the starting codon int the restriction enzyme site(we used an NcoI site before our protein), and to make sure the inlaid starting codon in the restriction site does not cause frameshift problems.
