nisA forward primer and nisB forward primer
Primer designed for Lactococcus lactis beginning of nisA sequence and nisB sequence.
Usage and Biology
Figure 1.PCR of V8-nisA and nisA. The first lane contains V8-nisA that has undergone a high-fidelity PCR. The second lane contains a nisA that has undergone a high-fidelity PCR. Gel electrophoresis was conducted to separate the PCR products in a 1% agarose-TAE gel. The red asterisks indicate the PCR products at approximately 379 bp.
A PCR was conducted to amplify the V8-nisA and nisA sequences. A DNA band was observed at approximately 379 bp in both lanes of the gel as indicated by the red asterisks in Figure 1. This length matches the number of base pairs in the initial sequence, suggesting that V8-nisA and nisA were amplified and indicates that our nisA forward primer is effective.
