PCR primer for modification of pVIII M13 protein to detect Hippuric Acid #2

PCR (forward) primer designed to modify M13 pVIII protein near the N-terminus. Modification replaces EGDD with DIWRF (sequence derived through Molecular Docking using Autodock Vina) for the purpose of creating a Hippuric Acid-binding pVIII protein, implemented as a biosensor when M13 phages self-assemble on a gold-coated substrates.

It should be noted that part "BBa_K4810020" serves similar purpose, with the difference of creating different peptide modification presenting similarly satisfactory results by molecular docking as part "BBa_K4810021"
