UDP-glucose generation unit. Converts G6P to UDP-Glucose. This unit is used for enhancing UDP-Glucose production in order to increase the rhodioloside yield.

Characterization

pgm-galU is the UDP-glucose generation unit, enhancing the rhodioloside production. Fermentation experiment shows that it boosts not only the rhodioloside yield(7 to 12mg/L on 36h) but also the strain growth(0.764 to 1.292 on 36h).
