Design Notes

The cell penetrating peptide should be located at the N-terminus, because the C-terminus will be inside after container ferritin assembled and the peptide would not be able to act since it can not reach the cell wall. Also, the N-terminus of the R9 peptide must not be blocked by anything else. Even though the exact mode of action is not know yet, it is know that a free N-terminus is essential.

R9 is synthetic. The sequence for the ferritin is obtained from the human heavy chain protein.
