Usage and Biology

Addition of the Nicotiana benthamiana methionine tRNA sequence to the 3'UTR region of the RuBy mRNA allowed the RuBy mRNA to acquire the ability to move long distances throughout the plant body, and this process can be reported by the RuBy-catalyzed production of betacyanin.
