CP(from TMV)
Source Introduction
Tobacco mosaic virus is an RNA virus that specifically infects plants, especially tobacco and other nightshade plants, causing these infected leaves to appear mottled and stained. The main components of its genome include replicase, motor protein, capsid protein, etc. It can be used as an immune stimulant for plants.
Usage and Biology
CP is the capsid protein of TMV, which is packaged on the outside of the viral nucleic acid to form protection, and can achieve the effect displayed on the surface of the virus by coupling other proteins on it.
Purpose
In our experiment, the purpose of cloning this protein is to construct its fusion protein with fluorescent protein later, so that the observation index can be converted to make observation easier.
