SacI restriction site

SacI recognition site, a six-base restriction enzyme site with the sequence 5'-GAGCT^C-3', originating from Streptomyces achromogenes. It is cleaved after C-5 by a type IIP restriction endonuclease leaving 3' sticky ends.
