Applications of BBa_K4392005
This part was cloned in the pCZ backbone upstream to the lacZ reporter gene and conjugatively mobilized to A. brasilense sp7. To check the qualitative activity of this promoter under hypoxic conditions in Azospirillum, a pellicle experiment was setup in ttc and X-Gal-containing media. Visually the pellicle for the pcZ- exaA:lacZ culture appeared more dark blue than the pellicle for the control pcZ backbone(without the exaA promoter)
