Cellulose synthase acsAB - Improvment of part BBa_K1321334
This part is an improvement of BBa_K1321334. Just a His-Tag was added. Acs A and Acs B are subunits in the cellulose operon of Komagataeibacter xylinus. The cellulose synthase consists of two domains, the catalytic domain (AcsA) and the regulatory domain (AcsB). AcsA catalyzes the polymerization of UDP-glucose to glucose and AcsB binds c-di-GMP which starts the polymerization process.
