Design Notes
Evidence shows that the antimicrobial peptide Snakin-1 can effectively inhibit Rhizoctonia solani. In this project, we hope to express Snakin-1 constitutively in Trichoderma atroviride to improve its lethality against R. solani.
Source
Snakin-1 comes form Solanum bulbocastanum.
