crRNA for gp23

The crRNA we designed for CRISPR/Cas9 to recognise the cleavage site of gp23.

Experiment

In our project, in order to screen the avalible crRNA for Cas9 to cleave the target, we select 6 crRNAs targeting to gp24 by software and one crRNA targeting to gp23. By dua-plasmid engneering bacteria culture and phage ifection, we test these crRNAs and compare the efficiency.

As the figure shows, the crRNA 1-6 cannot cleaved the phage's gp24 gene, as these groups shows similar phage infection rate. By contrast, the crRNA for gp23 lead Cas9 sucessfully cut the target site.
