Long Description

This is the reverse primer to amplify the downstream (3’) portion of the gene glpX encoding sedoheptulose- 1,7-bisphosphatase (Synpcc7942_0505). The overlap sequence (red) allows proper Gibson assembly with the pGEM-SBPase backbone. The annealing portion (all caps) allows annealing to the WT S. elongatus PCC 7942 genome for proper amplification. The amplicon would be used for the composite part pGEM-SBPase.
