Design Notes
This is one of two versions of the dhdO binding site with spacer that was tested. Eventually, we hope to characterize the binding behavior of both sequences, in order to optimize our circuit behavior.
Source
This is an identified binding site for the DhdR gene, and is generated from sequence analysis. This sequence contains a spacer attached to the end, as literature sources indicated that the presence of a spacer might be able to improve expression activity.
