Usage and Biology

TDH3 is our core promoter, we find that TDH3 has the strongest expression in our system. In order to establish DNA modules with predictable properties for the assembly of the general transcription initiation complex in S. cerevisiae, the article selected six S. cerevisiae promoters which are commonly used for heterologous gene expression in this host: GAL1p, PDC1p, TPI1p, TDH3p, ENO1p, and PGK1p. And finally found that TDH3 has the strongest expression.
