Design Notes

The crRNA should be integrated in a CRISPR plasmid system to induce a double-stranded DNA break. For this you will need: -a functional gRNA consisting of this crRNA and gRNA backbone - a Cas9 protein.

The crRNA is complementary to chromosome 4 (position 303293-303312) within the assembled genome of K. phaffii GS115 strain by De Schutter et al. 2009 (Accession number FN392322).
