Design Notes

We had to modify some codons in order to meet the iGEM Biobrick Standards. We also had to modify some nucleotides to synthetize the sequence with IDT.

Source

The coding sequence for the katE gene comes from NCBI GenBank: M55161.1. It is the sequence from E.coli catalase HPII (katE) gene, complete cds. However, some codons were optimized in order to make it compatible with Biobrick standards.
