Design Notes

By observing and comparing the structure of PETase, appropriate mutations were constructed and the forces between the residues were modified. By finding suitable sites around V196 and I200 for mutations, the hydrophobic interaction force between the residues is enhanced and the hydrophobic core is created, so T198V was designed.
