Design Notes

The promoter had to be very strong and the 6x-His tag had to be at the N-terminus of the protein, as the part was created to be compared to the part BBa_K3286282.


Source

The gpd gene comes from the lambda phage genome. The chitinase A gene was ordered as a G-block.
