Chloramphenicol Resistance Gene Q190X (ChlR_Q190X)

This part is a mutant of a gene encoding ChlR, a resistance gene of chloramphenicol, and it is nonsense mutated at its 190th amino acid residual. We used this mutated ChlR as one of the target genes of our directed evolution process. After expression in BL21(DE3), we counted the containing chloramphenicol to show its inability of being resistant to chloramphenicol.
