RNA polymerase stops reading DNA when recognizing this sequence.

  • A stop codon was added to the primer after PCR, used in PCR to attach a homologous site necessary for in-fusion. However, in the case of RecA, does not have stop codon sequence in the primer because RecA originally has a stop codon in the sequence.
