Start Methionine-Glycine-Serine Linker Codon-Optimized for E. coli
Short hydrophilic linker containing the initiator codon, immediately followed by two residues. These residues have been shown to enhance the lifetime of the protein in the bacterial cytoplasm when placed at the N-terminus, after Met.1
