hsaGlucagon

A hormone that can raise blood suger.

Usage and Biology

The hormone is used to raise the glucose content to create a high-glucose environment. Some of the subsequent experiments are based on the condition.To test our approach's influence on the glucose balance, we first need to increase glucose content so that the changes are easier to discover. Meanwhile, we need to observe changes in hepatic cell metabolism led caused by the change of glucose content, which is affected by Glucagon. On the other hand, as a basic part, it can make up a composite part to act as a navigator which helps the part to bind with GCGR specifically and thus set up the degradation of GCGR.
