Design Notes

When bringing the protein to expression, keep in mind that the zinc fingers need zinc-ions (Zn2+), for when using IMAC columns like Nikkel (Ni2+). This could be a hindrance. There are protocols online which will help you bring the proteins to expression and purify them without harming the protein.

Source

This part was made by IDT and codon optimized for E.coli BL21(DE3). We made the zinc-finger arrays with the help of www.zincfingertools.com.
