fd terminator

The fd terminator is a central terminator from bacteriophage fd1. It is used in several expression plasmids, which can be found by DNA sequence homology BLAST against the NCBI database, to terminate the transcription of a desired gene2. In our case the fd terminator was used to stop the transcription of casein and whey genes fused in front of it (BBa_K2924033, BBa_K2924052, BBa_K2924054).
