We used this part as the reported when we investigated the properties of the promoter BBa_J23106. BBa_J23106_m9_fluorescence_650_nm.png This graph depicts the difference in fluorescence between the mNeonGreen generated by the BBa_J23106 promoter and the RFP generated by the BBa_J23100 at a wavelength of 650 nm. This study was carried out in transparent M9 media. BBa_J23106_m9_fluorescence_515_nm.png This graph depicts the difference in fluorescence between the mNeonGreen generated by the BBa_J23106 promoter and the RFP generated by the BBa_J23100 at a wavelength of 515 nm. This study was carried out in transparent M9 media.

We can see using these graphs that at 515 nm wavelengths, the mNeonGreen protein generates a much higher fluorescence signal than the red fluorescent protein to which we were comparing it.
