Aldh1, hmfH and hmfO operon under pBAD regulation
Aldh1[1], hmfH[2] and HmfO[3] are three enzymes that allows oxidation of 5-(hydroxyméthyl)furfural ( HMF )into 2,5-Furandicarboxylic acid ( FDCA ). This operon regulated by pBAD promoter has been created in order to maximise the expression of protein that realise the oxidation of HMF into FDCA. These three enzymes use different pathways from HMF to FDCA with different intermediates so this operon could permit bypass of reaction intermediate accumulations.
