Design Notes

This plasmid was designed as an intermediate for our project design. Using 3OC12, a know quorum sensing molecule related to cystic fibrosis, and a known promoter, super folder green fluorescent protein (sfGFP) was able to be inserted and tested. The majority of the plasmid was taken from the Voigt Lab at MIT, and the sfGFP was supplied by an Air Force Research Labs collaborator. This plasmid was created through ligation using New England Bioloabs protocol and products.
