cPT Region of IcsA

When the cPT region, or central polar targeting region, of the IcsA protein is tagged to another protein, it has been shown to induce unipolar localization in E. coli. This localization occurs intracellularly and can be visualized when tagged with fluorescent proteins such as in BBa_K2485016 and BBa_K2485017.
