Design Notes

This promoter comes from S.cerevisiae S288C, which is over 250 bp upstream of CUP1. This part is a homologous part with BBa_K2165004 which designed by iGEM16_Washington, but it is shorter than it with core sequence activated by ACE1, a transcription factor which binds to copper ions.
