T7 Promoter+RBS+LA-LTP
Introduction
This peptide is from the LTP family, which is standing for Lipid Transfer Protein. The mechanism of LTP protein is to bind to the lipid on the cell membrane of the pathogen through electrostatic interactions and causes destabilization and permeabilization of the membrane [1]. NCTU_Formosa used it to be one of a training data for forming the antifungal peptide scoring card.
Experiment
We put T7 promoter, RBS, and LA-LTP together with pSB1C3 as a backbone. Then we conducted Taq PCR to check the size of the DNA sequence was right. The length of T7 promoter+RBS+MiAMP1 is around 354 b.p. Its PCR product is around 666 b.p.
