This is the coding sequence of RafD, a invertase which can catalyze sucrose to glucose and fructose.
It is the coding sequence of RafD, a invertase which can catalyze the hydrolysis of sucrose to glucose and fructose so that the bacteria can use sucrose in the medium. We link this protein before the signal peptide of HlyA to form part BBa_K2250002 so that it can be secreted outside the cell, which can make not only the producer use sucrose, but also other bacteria which can not synthesize this protein.
