IPTG Inducible 1tmr OmpA Surface Display of WT Streptavidin

This part should display WT streptavidin + 6His, BBa_J36841, on the surface of the cell via the OmpA display system when induced with IPTG.

Note: in order to express this construct as a fusion protein, there is no T after this sequence and before the SpeI site (sequencing will show inconsistent).

Cytometry showing no difference in bound biotin-conjugated fluorophore for 1mM IPTG induced vs uninduced cells at different fluorophore concentrations. Conclusion: Wild-type monomeric streptavidin shows no measureable activity when expressed as a fusion protein with one trans-membrane OmpA.
