Design Notes

To make the rpd3 promoter BBa_K1861101 BioBrick-compatible, we exchanged the T on position 133 to a C, thus removing a SpeI restriction site.
This part was not created by cloning but ordered from IDT.

Source

The rpd3 gene is located on chromosome XIV of S. cerevisiae. The promoter sequence can be found in the Yeast Promoter Atlas.
The adh1 terminator included in this part is BBa_K392003.
