Expression cassette for S. cerevisiae

This cassette includes, from 5' to 3':

  • the rpd3 promoter BBa_K1861101,
  • the start codon with a His-Tag BBa_K1861102,
  • a spacer that can be cut out with BamHI (5') and SacI (3') and ends with a stop codon BBa_K1861103,
  • and the adh1 terminator BBa_K392003.

    This cassette is meant to be used for the expression of genes in S. cerevisiae. In order to do so, the gene sequence has to be cloned into the cassette using BamHI and SacI.
    Due to the cassette's structure, any protein expressed this way will begin with the amino acids MHHHHHHGS and end with EL.
