The sequence for this gene was obtained from the Polistes dominula genome[1]. We codon-optimized it for expression in E. coli and ordered it for synthesis with BioBrick prefix and suffix from Integrated DNA Technologies.

Note: This coding part does not contain a promoter, RBS, transcriptional terminator, etc. These elements must be added for proper functionality.
