Design Notes

The n-butanol pathway in the cytoplasm is constructed as a control group to identify the effectiveness of the pathway directed to the mitochondria.AdhE2,originated from Clostridium beijerinckii, expresses butyraldehyde dehydrogenase and butanol dehydrogenase, which converts BtCoA to butyraldehyde, butyraldehyde to butanol, the fifth step and the last step of the n-butanol pathway.This part is constructed in pUC57 individually at the beginning and it is assembled with Ccr(BBa_K1462240) in plasmid 352 ,which is uracil auxotroph.
