Applications of BBa_K1381016
The [http://2014.igem.org/Team:Uppsala/Project_Killing Uppsala Team of 2014] used this sRNA to silence USP45 coupled with colicins Fy. But the sRNA is specific for USP45. So it is possible to change so that USP45 is coupled with any other protein that you want to transport out of the cell. Then this sRNA can silence any protein coupled with USP45. So when the sRNA is transcribed it will stop the translation of the USP45 complex. And when the sRNA is absent the USP45 would be expressed as usual.
