Applications of BBa_K133055

The [http://2018.igem.org/Team:Cardiff_Wales 2018 Cardiff_Wales team] has designed and characterised a version of mCherry that is codon-optimised for expression in the tobacco leaf system. This version is also appropriate for golden gate cloning.

This is part BBa_K2810009.

In addition the Cardiff team made a composite in which the new version of mCherry was attached to a promotor and terminator for bacterial expression. This demonstrated that the new version was appropriate for expression in both bacterial and plant expression systems. This part is BBa_K2810011.
