Description:
XylR is a protein that belongs to the AraC/XylS family. This regulator participates in controlling several genes involved in xylose utilization. XylR activates the xylAB and xylFGHR operons.
Useable in conjunction with promoters:
- BBa_I741015 Two way promoter controlled by xylR-xylose and CRP-cAMP
- BBa_I741017 Two way promoter controlled by xylR-xylose and CRP-cAMP (reverse of BBa_I741015)
- BBa_I741018 Right facing promoter (for xylF) controlled by xylR and CRP-cAMP
- BBa_I741019 Right facing promoter (for xylA) controlled by xylR and CRP-cAMP
- BBa_I741020 Right facing promoter (for xylF) controlled by xylR, with CRP binding site removed
- BBa_I741021 Right facing promoter (for xylA) controlled by xylR, with CRP binding site removed
