p15A replication origin
BBa_I50032 is a p15A origin of replication. BBa_I50032 is the replication origin found in the pSB3* series of BioBrick vectors.
Usage and Biology
- BBa_I50032 yields vectors with an expected copy number of 10-12 per cell ([http://openwetware.org/wiki/Molecular_Cloning Molecular Cloning]).
When comparing this p15A to another, it looks like the documented sequence is missing a G at the 860bp. Will need further looking into.
