Jay Nadeau (Leader, McGill 2006) reported this part, delivered in May iGEM 2006 release, produced altered colony morphologies when transformed into E. coli cells. Microscopically, the cells appear to be normal. This result was not observed at iGEM. Meagan Lizarazo obtained normal colonies with the expected phenotype. Ahessel 10:09, 22 June 2006 (EDT)
