autoinducer synthetase for PAI from Pseudomonas aeruginosa

coding region for lasI protein, which produces the chemical signal AI-1

Usage and Biology

214 c->t EcoRI restriction site was present. Ttc -> ttt codon (good for E. coli)

402 g->a PstI restriction site was present. Cag -> Caa codon (slightly less optimal for E. Coli)

Contribution of SCAU-China 2023

We improved this part by optimizing the codons for Escherichia coli expression. Codon optimization was done with the help of GUANGZHOU IGE BIOTECHNOLOGY LTD. We successfully characterized its performance in E. coli TOP10. For more detailed characterization results, please refer to our composite_part-Part:BBa_K4632024[1] and Part:BBa_K4632015[2].
