About Me

I'm Anna Schechtel, student of Biology M.Sc. program at the RWTH Aachen University. I'm a member of the [http://2014.igem.org/Team:Aachen 2014 iGEM Team at RWTH Aachen University].

I already completed my undergrad degree in biology at the RWTH Aachen University. My bachelor thesis I wrote on “Mechanism of inflammatory regulation by GLP-1” at RWTH Aachen Teaching Hospital. Additionally, I worked as student assistant supervising a practical course for biology bachelor students at RWTH Aachen University.

I'm happy to work in a team with students from different study paths. I hope that I can learn from and with them, so that we can together create something special for the iGEM competition. In my free time I like to dance ballet and standard, read books and meet friends for a cup of tea.
