Constituitively expressed ChaC gene

This composite part consists of a BBa_J23100 promoter which allows constitutive expression of the gene ChaC. ChaC encodes a glutathione-specific gamma-glutamylcyclotransferase, which catalyses the cleavage of glutathione into its main component parts (5-oxo-L-proline and cysteine-glycine dipeptide). This part can be used for glutathione degradation.
